അറുപതിന്റെ നിറവിൽ ഗോവ
തിരുവനന്തപുരം: ഗോവൻ സ്വാതന്ത്ര്യത്തിന്റെ അറുപതാം വാർഷികം വിപുലമായ രീതിയിൽ ആഘോഷിക്കുവാൻ ഗോവൻ സർക്കാർ തീരുമാനിച്ചു. ഗോവ @60 എന്ന പേരിലാണ് വജ്ര ജൂബിലി ആഘോഷങ്ങൾ സംഘടിപ്പിക്കുന്നത്. ഗോവൻ സ്വാതന്ത്ര്യത്തിന്റെ അറുപതാം വാർഷികം 2021 ഡിസംബർ 19ന് അന്നത്തെ പ്രസിഡന്റ് ആയിരുന്ന രാംനാഥ് കോവിന്ദിന്റെ ഉദ്ഘാടനം ചെയ്തിരുന്നു. ചടങ്ങിൽ പ്രധാനമന്ത്രി നരേന്ദ്രമോദി അധ്യക്ഷൻ ആയിരുന്നു. വജ്ര ജൂബിലിയോട് അനുബന്ധിച്ച് ഒരു വർഷം നീളുന്ന ആഘോഷ പരിപാടികൾ രാജ്യമെമ്പാടും നടത്താനാണ് തീരുമാനിച്ചത്. അഹമ്മദാബാദിൽ നിന്ന് ആരംഭിച്ച് രാജ്യത്തെ 6 പ്രധാന നഗരങ്ങളായ ഉദയ്പൂർ, വാരണാസി, മധുരൈ, തിരുവനന്തപുരം, മൈസൂരു എന്നിവിടങ്ങളിൽ ആഘോഷ പരിപാടികൾ സംഘടിപ്പിക്കും.
മധുരയ്ക്കുശേഷം തിരുവനന്തപുരത്താണ് മൂന്ന് ദിവസം നീളുന്ന പരിപാടികൾ സംഘടിപ്പിക്കുന്നത്. ഒക്ടോബർ 7 മുതൽ 9 വരെ മാൾ ഓഫ് ട്രാവൻകൂറിൽ ആണ് പരിപാടികൾ നടക്കുക. ഗോവയുടെ തനത് ഭക്ഷണം, സംഗീതം, നൃത്ത രൂപങ്ങൾ, സംസ്‌കാരം,
എന്നിവ നേരിട്ടറിയാൻ തിരുവനന്തപുരത്തെ ജനങ്ങൾക്ക് അവസരം ഉണ്ടാകും. ഗോവയിലെ പ്രധാന ബാൻഡുകളായ ക്ലിക്‌സസ്, സ്റ്റീൽ എന്നിവരുടെ ലൈവ് പെർഫോമൻസും തനത് നൃത്ത പരിപാടികളും കാണാം. ഗോവൻ കാർണിവലിലെ പ്രധാന ആകർഷണമായ കിംഗ് മോമോയുടെ പരേഡ് പരിപാടിക്ക് കൂടുതൽ മിഴിവേകും.
മോപ്പയിൽ ഗ്രീൻഫീൽഡ് അന്താരാഷ്ട്ര വിമാനത്താവളം, വിവരസാങ്കേതിക രംഗത്തെ വളർച്ച, ടൂറിസത്തിന്റെ പുതിയ സാധ്യതകൾ, ഗതാഗത സൗകര്യങ്ങൾ മെച്ചപ്പെടുത്തുക, സഞ്ചാരികൾക്ക് കൂടുതൽ സൗകര്യം ഒരുക്കുക എന്നിവയാണ് ഭാവിയിൽ ഗോവൻ സർക്കാർ പ്രധാനമായി ലക്ഷ്യം വെക്കുന്ന വികസന പ്രവർത്തനങ്ങൾ.
പോർച്ചുഗീസിൽ നിന്നും ഗോവയെ മുക്തമാക്കുന്നതിന് ജീവൻ നൽകി പോരാടിയ ധീര സ്വാതന്ത്ര സേനാനികൾക്ക് ആദരം അർപ്പിക്കുന്നതിനും ഈ മൂന്ന് ദിവസത്തെ പരിപാടി വിനിയോഗിക്കുകയാണ്.

Goa’s government organises Goa@60
Thiruvananthapuram, Oct 6, 2022: The government of Goa decided to celebrate 60 years of Goa’s liberation from Portuguese rule as an extravaganza, Goa@60. Since December 19, 2021, the government has successfully celebrated the Diamond Jubilee in the distinguished presence of then-President of India Shri Ram Nath Kovind, followed by events presided over by Hon’ble Prime Minister of India Shri Narendra Modi.After fabulous celebrations in Goa, the government of Goa decided to celebrate the Diamond Jubilee with year-long celebrations across the country. Starting from Ahmadabad, this nation-wide celebration has taken place in six different cities, i.e., Udaipur, Varanasi, Madurai, Thiruvanantapuram, and Mysuru, from September 9 to October 16, 2022.
After Madurai, a three-day celebration will be organised in Thiruvananthapuram from October 7th to October 9th, 2022, at the Mall of Travancore, Airport Road, Near International Airport, Eanchakkal, Thiruvanathapuram, Kerala 695024. People in Thiruvananthapuram can experience Goa’s authentic cuisine, music, dance, culture and traditions through various live events. The main attractions of this event will be performances of Goa’s indigenous bands like The Klixs Band ,Shigmo dance and Goa dance performances by the Goan Dance Troupe. The main attraction of the event will be the cheerful parade of King Momo, the face of Goan Carnival.
The Government of Goa also intends to highlight the vision for taking Goa to greater heights in the coming years by adding infrastructure like the new Green Field international airport at Mopa, developments in information technology, new services for tourism, better transport facilities, and measures taken to enhance safety and security for the local population and visitors to the state, and so on.
This event will also pay tribute to and honour all those who fought for the liberation of Goa from the Portuguese and also those who worked to enable Goa to attain statehood, which holds high admiration among the people of Goa.
The top officials from the Government of Goa will be a part of this celebration, Goa@60, to address the press conference and interact with the media.
